Puget Sound Crab Season 2024 Date. Recreational crabbers will be issued at one or two catch record cards (crcs) when they purchase a puget sound crab endorsement with a fishing license. Crab fishing season opens early (june 1) for marine area 13 south of tacoma and later (july 16) for marine area 7 which includes the san juan islands.

Washington — puget sound’s crabbing season will begin on july 1, and most marine areas will be open for at least a portion of the summer, state wildlife. Crabbers must release softshell crabs back.
